Chandra Kumar Bose is Face of BJP in Bengal

BJP has played a master stroke before Bengal polls. It has fielded Chandra Kumar Bose, the grandnephew of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, in the fray against current West Bengal CM - Mamta Banerjee. This move became the talk of the nation as soon as HRD minister Smriti Irani announced this decision of the party in a press conference. People are talking whether this ace-slide will work of the BJP or like Delhi, there is something else to emerge!
If you are wondering about this instantly hit figure in Indian politics, you have all the rights to wonder! It's the time of elections when we come to know about many new people and their history. Chandra Kumar Bose is the grandnephew of freedom fighter Subhas Chandra Bose. Not only that, he has something more to his credit - he is the grandson of Sarat Chandra Bose. However, it's entirely wrong to say that Chandra Kumar has only his surname backing his personality!
He has studied economics at Hendrix College, London, in 1982. He has worked with Tata Management Training Centre for a long tenure. In 2000, he established his own company with the name of Bose Information Technology Pvt. Ltd. He has also associated himself with different national and international groups trying to declassify and bring the files related to Netaji in public domain.

Now, the situation in West Bengal is not certain. There is a section of people in the state which is not satisfied with the works of Mamta government. Moreover, the recent developments by Modi government in digitalizing and publicizing the files related to Netaji is the key behind this move. Chandra Kumar, though, told that he had been in communication with the BJP and prime minister Modi for more than two years now. The political rivals of the current party in power are alleging that this is simply 'a legacy card'. To know what people are thinking about it, ILN team organized a twitter poll:

What colour this event adds to the Bengal polls, time will tell us. On the other hand, congress has made a collision with the left party. For the time being, Mamta is alone!
